A program of excursions departing from the Adriano Camping Village that combines culture, sport and nature
City of art: Venice
Arriving by car up to Fusina or Sottomarina, and then taking the dedicated ferry, you can disembark in the center of Venice and admire the artistic beauties of the city. Among these, the splendid tradition of blown glass on islands like Murano, Burano and Torcello, but also the Basilica of San Marco, Rialto Bridge, Bridge of Sighs, Piazza San Marco, the Grand Canal and the characteristic canals that cross the city.
City of art: Ravenna
Characterized by splendid mosaics and Byzantine churches, UNESCO heritage (San Vitale, Galla Placidia, the Arian Baptistery, the Mausoleum of Teoderico, Sant’Apollinare in Classe), Ravenna is just a few kilometers from the Adriano Camping Village. Reaching it will be really easy in the car or by bus, and its small size will allow you to visit it in its entirety and to enjoy the wide gastronomic offer of the territory. That's not all, because the city also houses the tomb of Dante Alighieri.
Romagna without a suitcase: from Porto Garibaldi to the Valleys of Comacchio; the Saline di Cervia
Three options to visit natural areas not too far from the Adriano Camping Village and full of suggestions: from Porto Garibaldi to Comacchio by motorboat, crossing the Fattibello valley, a reserve of extraordinary landscape value, up to the Peca Foce station; from the Grotta del Re Tiberio - among the best known in the Parco della Vena del Gesso Romagnola - to the Grotta di Riolo Terme, a military fortification from the end of the 14th century; visit to the Salina of Cervia, where you will have the opportunity to see more than 100 types of animals including flamingos, and visit to the Educational Park, where there are many animals that populate our farms.
Fun: Mirabilandia Park
A self-respecting holiday in the Romagna Riviera cannot do without spending at least one day in the Mirabilandia amusement park. With its numerous attractions dedicated to all age groups and all tastes (from the most adrenaline to the rollercoaster designed for families and children), the park satisfies every need. Reaching it will be very simple, from the Adriano Camping Village.
Nature: slowbike tourism
Some routes for those who love nature and cycling: excursion to the Baiona pialassa passing through the pine forests, along the Piomboni pialassa, and with the possibility of arriving at Capanno Garibaldi and Pineta San Vitale; excursion to the Classe pinewood, recalled by Dante in the Divine Comedy, admiring the fishing huts and the beautiful surrounding landscape.
