Two proposals dedicated to those who like to immerse themselves in splendid natural settings on holiday
Delta del Po
The Po Delta Park, located a few kilometers from the Adriano Camping Village, has territorial and ecological characteristics that make it unique in its kind. It covers a total area of over 52,000 hectares of areas considered to be among the most productive and rich in biodiversity. Despite being one of the most anthropized and economically developed protected areas in the country, the Po Delta Park of Emilia Romagna preserves within itself the largest Italian extension of protected wetlands. The Po Delta, due to its history as a cultural and economic crossroads between the West and the East, brings together naturalistic excellences and wonderful testimonies of art and culture also recognized by UNESCO. The Po Delta Park is a protected area of great complexity and is at the same time a land park, a river park and a coastal park. And there is no doubt that the natural element that more than others connotes is water, even if, to reach it, there are convenient ways of communication. It is the unstable relationship between water and land, their always precarious balance, which in the Po Delta has determined such a changeable landscape in which forests, pine forests and flooded forests alternate with inland fresh or salt water wetlands. The biodiversity in the delta district is extraordinary, in particular due to the presence of over 280 species of birds.
Pineta di Classe
In the area between Classe (Ravenna) and Cervia, lies one of the most beautiful pine forests in the coastal area: almost 900 hectares of purely Mediterranean vegetation, with clearings in dry meadows and flooded lowlands inside the wood with weakly brackish and sweet water. Inside there are various cycle routes that lead to the towns of Milano Marittima and Cervia, and which pass through sites of great interest such as the complex Ortazzo, Ortazzino and the mouth of the Bevano stream, one of the wildest and most naturalistic environments of the province and of the entire Adriatic coast.
